Tenzin Chukit, born 2011
Tenzin lived with her grandmother as het parents are divorced. She has one younger sister and she is now the youngest at the Gephel Shadrubling Nunnery. She arrived at the end of 2015 in the Nunnery and has been shaved, so the entrance ritual took already place.
Sonam Dolma, born 2009
Her parents are very poor. Her father is a farmer and her mother is a housewife. She has two older sisters two older brothers. She is the youngest child in this family. Her two older sisters are uneducated and her two brothers went also to a monastry. Sonam is very happy that she was allowed to go to the Gephel nunnery and plays happely with the other children. She seems to be good in mathematics and she wants to become a teacher. Her smile is touching and it is said that she almost always smiles.
Thupten Wangmo, born 1993?
Thupten Wangmo is from Temisgam. Her father is a policeman and her mother is a housewife. She has only two sisters and she is the youngest child in her family. She became a nun at the age of 12. It was her personal choice. Her aim is to study more and a Dharma teacher and also dedicate her life in the service of poor and old people. Currently she is doing her 10th standard class at Dehradun.
Tsering Dolma, born 1985
Studies to become a Geshe in Kopan, Nepal at the Khachoe Ghakyil nunnery She almost finished her studies and will be one of the first female Geshe in Tibetan history Then she will return to become a teacher at the new Universty in Basgo of the Gephel Shadrupling Institute that is being built there.
